I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  My practice is in Walnut Creek, California.  I have over 30 years of experience working with adolescents and adults who have a wide range of personal and interpersonal challenges.  

I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Southern California and a Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh.

I am a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the East Bay Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I am also a member of the National Registry of Marriage Friendly Therapists.

Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology at California State University, East Bay and in the Psychology Department at Chapman College.

Expert witness in cases of child development and family dynamics and in cases of child sexual abuse in the Superior Court, Contra Costa County.

Mediator in child custody disputes for the Superior Court, Alameda County.

Radio and television guest and presenter. Topics include decision making, sex addiction, adolescent development, child and adult sexual abuse, dysfunctional relationships and effective treatment strategies.
